Our story has humble beginnings starting in the early 1970's in Beirut, Lebanon. Oldest brother Sarkis learned the Jewelry trade at 13-years-old and passed it down to his brothers and sisters. After immigrating to America in the mid 70's, brothers Gary and Sarkis opened up for business in 1981. Located in the Advance Building in Southfield, Michigan, the brothers developed their craft and quickly began innovating. The brothers invented new ways to set stones that had never been done before. The brothers also designed and created tools to help in the jewlery manufacturing process. Both brothers, Sarkis and Gary, were wonderful jewelry designers, excellent innovators, and exceptional business owners. After years in the business together, Sarkis and Gary decided to open up separate stores that each family would run. For the past 30 years Gary, his wife Ana, and their children have run Star Jewelry together.
